Pampering treats

All girls love pampering- the truest truth.

Christmas is just around the corner and every girl wants to feel beautiful. Every company wants to reach into these girls' pockets too, and we were the latest victims of Jo Malone. It is alright if we are not going to be at Bond Street this Christmas, you can still smell and feel like it.

Voila! The range of oh-so-gorgeous bottles and their lovely scents all the way from London.

If you do the math, you will realize it is quite a rip-off. That's if you actually do the math. Most girls love miniatures and varieties, especially when the gifts come in a red box wrapped with loads of ribbons. That is the exact selling point. When I asked the all-attentive sales girl, she said the specialty of the Christmas set is that we get a variety of scents and the box is red instead of the usual black. Hah, of course I didn't buy it. But I am quite sure this marketing tactic works on others.

Obviously I did not go there to be tempted in buying red boxes. We went for free hand massage! Yay!

First we chose our scent. We could choose more than one as that's the unique thing about Jo Malone- you could layer the scents to become a whole new fragrance. I wanted to have something different so I chose a combination of Orange Blossom and Blue Bell. After which, the masseuse washed our hands with one of the flavoured hand gel. How cute, they foamed the gel so that it increases the surface area and we get the most out of every drop- think cappuccino. It was followed by an amazing hand message. I never knew massaging the hand can be this relaxing. Lastly, she sprayed some Blue Bell and off I went, feeling fresh, relaxed and oh so wonderful.

Such a simple gesture and it made my day :)
